Arizona Gives Day

Arizona Gives Day is an annual giving day to celebrate all different types of nonprofits across Arizona. This event helps raise awareness about the critical role Arizona nonprofits play in our communities and inspires people to give online, creating a stronger community for all. Arizona Gives Day’s early giving period starts March 12, 2024. Donations between March 12 and April 5 will count towards an organization’s grand fundraising total.

Donating through Arizona Gives allows you to view the important work of each nonprofit organization in your community. BBBSAZ (Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona) is a youth mentoring organization that creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. BBBSAZ supports matches all throughout Maricopa and Pinal Counties. BBBSAZ is the largest and oldest youth mentoring agency in Arizona. To visit the BBBSAZ Arizona Gives Day page, click here.

Why give to BBBSAZ through Arizona Gives? Arizona Gives allows nonprofits to win additional money from the prize pool on Arizona Gives Day. Some of the prizes are based on the total amount raised within a particular category. Nonprofits can also win prizes through random drawings just for participating or being AZ Impact for Good members.

Arizona Gives Day also fosters a sense of community, as people all across the state come together to donate to worthy causes and make an impact on their community. It takes Little to be Big, which is why the simple act of donating during Arizona Gives Day can make a BIG impact on the youth in our community!

Your donation through AZ Gives may qualify for the Arizona State Charitable Tax Credit. Organizations who qualify for an Arizona Tax Credit will be marked as so on the AZGives.org website and on the organization’s individual profile page. You can find additional Arizona Tax Credit information at azdor.gov/tax-credits.
