Can you believe that it’s already April? All you sports fans already know – it’s officially draft season, the time of year where the biggest and brightest all-stars are chosen amongst a sea of talented players. Whether you’re a basketball or a football fan, this time of year is filled with lots of fun and excitement.
Big Brothers Big Sisters might not be the NFL or the NBA, but we do have something in common. While they’re drafting players, we’re drafting Bigs! That’s right, it is time for #TheBigDraft!! For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Big Draft, it is a sports-themed national campaign where all of our affiliates recruit new mentors. We accomplish this with the support of the NFL Inspire Change Initiative! This year we have a goal of finding 6,000 new Bigs nationwide. You’ll also get to witness the positive impact that this match’s relationship has had on both the Big and the Little.
