Paul’s Car Wash Recap

Pauls Car Wash

Paul’s Car Wash is an annual week-long televised celebration of the Big Brothers Big Sisters community that is hosted by Arizona’s Family Weather Anchor & Community Ambassador, Paul Horton. This year’s event took place October 17th through the 21st at Desert Ridge Marketplace. During the week, over 250 volunteers washed close to 700 cars! And in total, $207,101 was raised to benefit BBBSAZ. All of the money raised will help BBBSAZ further its mission to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.

Paul’s Car Wash 2022 featured so many highlights, including visits from Big Red and the Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders, science experiments by the Arizona Science Center, a visit from La Catrina of the Cultural Coalition’s Dia de Los Muertos Phx Festival, balloon-making clowns from the Arizona State Fair, and nightly live bands. There were many animal visitors this year, including an armadillo from the Phoenix Zoo, a pig from Better Piggies Rescue, chickens from the Canyon View FFA, and a baby sloth from Wildlife World Zoo! Some attendees even received awesome giveaways, like a gift card presented by American Furniture Warehouse, spa days at The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, and free tickets to the upcoming NASCAR series. We also had a surprise donation from the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee and another presented by Al McCoy from the Fiesta Bowl Charities. Check out all the photos from Paul’s Car Wash 2022 here!
