Parent/Guardian Role

“Don’t think twice about signing up your daughter. If you want your kids to have a positive experience and do things besides hanging out at the mall, this is the perfect program.”
- Rebecca, mother of a Little Sister

Having a Big Brother or Big Sister can be one of the most significant experiences in your child's life and in yours! Supporting the "match" is our priority, but it takes more than us to make it a success. We also need your support and feedback.

After your child meets his or her Big Brother or Big Sister, you will need to keep regular phone contact with your Match Support Specialist (MSS). These calls will provide information to your MSS that will help support your child and his or her Big. There will also be periodic written evaluations mailed to you and your child, which we ask you to complete and return.

Because we offer ongoing support of this new friendship, it is imperative to your child’s match success that we are kept informed of the match progress. Please feel free to contact your MSS at any time concerning any questions you may have regarding our program and/or your child's participation.

"A Big Brother or Big Sister offers your child a little extra companionship, attention and  love."
- Jana, mother of a Little Sister and Little Brother
