DIRECTOR OF PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
We seek a dynamic and entrepreneurial individual to manage our corporate charitable contributions.
The Director of Partnership Development works closely with the Development and Marketing departments to plan and execute a comprehensive fund development program and will work to identify, cultivate and secure funding from current and prospective corporate partners.
The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in fundraising and/or sales, with a proven track record in securing significant gifts, building and maintaining long-term relationships with donors, contributing to a collaborative team and comfortable in a variety of social situations.
The Director of Partnership Development will work closely with Board of Directors, President/CEO and Development staff in the identification and cultivation of potential partners; identify industries, demographics or geographic areas with high potential for corporate contributions and create strategies to access these potential partners; coordinate with Marketing and Program Departments with recruitment of volunteers, as well as help secure new clothing donation sites. Ability to work hours outside the standard 8-5 timeframe and to travel, if necessary.
Skills / Requirements Requirements include: Bachelor's degree, fundraising/sales experience, exceptional research skills and verbal and written communication skills. Candidates should be well organized, people-oriented, able to multitask, and able to maintain effective working relationships.

Skills / Requirements This position requires proven high quality customer service experience with the ability to be enthusiastic, friendly, and provide accurate information. The candidate must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle a high volume of phone calls and e-mail. Proficiency in MS Office and experience in a similar public relations/communications postion is required; Associate's Degree is preferred. These VISTA positions are for two enthusiastic self-starters who will recruit volunteers from the faith community to be mentors for children of prisoners. Will receive $800 monthly living allowance as well as health benefits and life insurance. Bachelor’s degree or minimum five years of relevant experience can be substituted.
