You can make a significant difference in a child’s life by supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters. As the leading non-profit organization in youth mentoring, we pride ourselves in the quality of service we provide to our youth, parents, volunteers and communities.
We can’t do it alone, however. We depend on support from individuals and the community to help us create little moments of big magic by placing caring adult friends in the life of every Valley child in need.
Many flexible and meaningful avenues of support exist to best fit your giving abilities:
Outright or immediate gifts can be made by cash, check, money order, or credit card. An outright gift can qualify for a charitable income tax deduction equal to the full value of the gift. A cash contribution may be deducted up to 50 percent of the donor’s adjusted gross income. Join one of our many giving clubs that best fits you:
MatchMakers - Contribute $1,000 to fully fund the yearly relationship of a Big and a Little. This includes recruitment, screening and on-going match support.
MagicMakers - Contribute $25,000 to make a significant impact on the BBBS family and to become a lifelong friend of mentoring.
Friends - Contribute $50 - $999 to show your support and commitment to a worthwhile and meaningful program.
Appreciated assets can be made through publicly traded securities, real estate, closely held stock, partnership interests and other assets. Donors may receive an immediate income tax deduction and eliminate capital gains tax on the asset’s appreciation.
