Big Brother Big Sister non-profit organization is a children's charity offering a unique mentor program to help bring positive role models into children's lives. Our charity foundation is supported by local charity events and caring individuals like yourself who believe in what a non-profit association like Big Brothers Big Sisters does in Arizona's community.

Big Brother Big Sister fosters positive friendships through everyday magical experiences for local children and volunteers. This dynamic mentor program builds friendships, character, strengthens integrity and promotes personal responsibility. 

Big Brother Big Sister of Central Arizona exists to inspire, influence and encourage children to become confident and caring individuals by matching them with volunteers who believe in them.

As one of the largest Big Brother Big Sister agencies in the country, we currently have more than 1,700 children matched in our program. As we approach our 50th anniversary, more than 25,000 children have been individually served in our community. However, more than 900 children are still waiting for a Big Brother or Big Sister .

What we Do:

Big Brother Big Sister non profit organization proves time and time again that mentor programs work and a child's life can be forever changed through a simple friendship. Those children who were matched in the Big Brothers Big Sisters children's charity mentor program for more than one year were proven to be 27% less likely to start drinking;33% less likely then their peers to report hitting someone else; 37% less likely to skip a class; 46% less likely than their peers to start using illegal drugs and 52% less likely to skip a day of school.
